For some, the answer might be yes, but for many, it is more complicated. Some are not sure. Others chose this path because it was the most suitable opportunity at the time. And for a growing number, it is because they genuinely want to build a career in biomedical science.
Biomed Notes is not anything flashy. Like many other platforms, it is here to help students study.
What makes this one different, hopefully, is that it is designed to help you actually understand, apply, and explore the complex topics you will come across during your degree.
This platform is for the student who has ever sat through a two hour lecture and left wondering

Let us be honest. Not all lecturers are teachers. Many are brilliant researchers, but that does not mean they know how to teach or explain things clearly. And yet, we are expected to absorb everything from a PowerPoint slide and run with it.
You are in university now. That means the PowerPoint is not your final destination. It is just your starting point. Your real task is to go deeper, make connections, and build understanding.
I created Biomed Notes because I have been in your position.
I know what it is like to leave a lecture more confused than when you walked in.
But I also graduated with a First Class Honours in Biomedical Science. I want to help you do the same.
